SAP SAC Consultant (Planning & Analytics/Reporting)

Overview:

We’re seeking a talented SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with deep expertise in both SAC Planning and SAC Analytics & Reporting. 🔧 Key Responsibilities:

SAC Planning:

• Architect and deploy SAC Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise financial planning.

• Build sophisticated formulas, perform data transformations, and design input templates for streamlined data entry.

• Integrate data seamlessly from SAP and non-SAP systems to power planning workflows.

• Configure key planning elements including versioning, data locking, workflow management, and variance tracking.

• Enable scenario modeling, predictive planning, and advanced analytics, including writing R-scripts for enhanced planning logic.

SAC Analytics & Reporting:

• Create compelling SAC dashboards and stories for dynamic, real-time reporting across departments like finance, sales, and supply chain.

• Develop clear, data-driven visualizations with customized KPIs, charts, and widgets to drive actionable insights.

• Connect SAC to diverse data sources like SAP BW, S/4HANA, HANA, Excel, and more to ensure robust and responsive reporting.

• Improve dashboard performance and usability through optimization and troubleshooting.

• Leverage R-scripts to support advanced reporting logic where needed.

🧠 Skills & Expertise:

Technical Competencies:

• Proven hands-on experience with SAC Planning and Analytics modules.

• Expertise in scripting (Advanced Formulas), SAC data modeling, and planning capabilities.

• Familiarity with SAC’s predictive features and Smart Predict tools.

• Strong understanding of security structures in SAC (roles, teams, access control).

• Integration experience with SAP BW, HANA, and third-party sources.

• Bonus: Experience in BW/4HANA modeling is a strong advantage.

Functional Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of business planning, forecasting, and budgeting workflows.

• Ability to convert complex business requirements into practical and efficient SAC solutions.

• Skilled in crafting intuitive and user-centric dashboard designs.

🎓 Qualifications & Background:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the SAP Analytics domain, with at least 2 years working directly with SAP Analytics Cloud.

• A history of successful SAC Planning and Analytics implementations across varied industries.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP platforms is highly desirable.

• SAP Analytics Cloud certification is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in R-scripting is required.
