Sydney Permanent / 12 months Up to AU$150000.00 per annum + + super+ bonus + car

We are recruiting a newly created Pricing Manager for our client who is a globally recognised leader in financial services industry (motor vehicle and retail industries).

This will be a critical role for the organisation where you will spearhead cutting-edge initiatives to develop and implement innovative pricing strategies within the automotive and retail stakeholders. You will be comfortable using various data and modelling and analytical tools. This is your chance to drive impactful research, foster collaboration, and provide strategic leadership within a fast-paced and evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide strategic direction for the pricing team, ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team member, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking pricing strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to align research and development initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Present complex research findings and actionable insights to senior leadership, influencing business decisions and strategies.
  • Lead multiple R&D projects, managing timelines, scope, and budget to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track and monitor project progress, evaluating outcomes and ensuring alignment with KPIs.
  • Guide the team in delivering high-quality pricing models and solutions that align with the organisation’s goals and priorities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of pricing experience with exposure to motor vehicle industry /finance services and/ or retail stakeholders,
  • Desirable to have actuarial experience but must have worked in similar role.
  • Proven success in driving innovation and implementing new pricing solutions.
  • Exceptional consultative skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team that are non-financial and financial stakeholders.
  • A passion for research and innovation, with the ability to translate broad concepts into practical, impactful initiatives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborating with senior leadership to align pricing strategies with business objectives and drive organizational success.
