We are partnering with an award-winning Advertising & Media Business and Publisher, creating beautiful content across multiple platforms including print and digital. With over 4 million followers across their socials and having gone through double digit growth over the last 2 years, they are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (focusing on new business) to take them to the next level. Having a great base of clients already, there is a massive market to prospect. As this company has evolved organically, this is the first BDM (new business) role within the business so your skills will be embraced by an energetic team of partnership managers (account managers).

About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you will work alongside senior leadership to develop new business strategies, drive commercial growth and introduce new business improvements and innovation. This role is hands on, and you will focus predominantly on generating new leads and prospects and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue attainment.

Your experience

· Proven BDM experience, ideally within the Marketing or Advertising industry

· Strong track record of achieving/overachieving net new business targets.

· Consultative sales approach with strong negotiation/objection handling skills

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch and articulate complex media plans to clients.

· Great energy and positive forward thinking individual who has passion for their craft and enjoys collaborating with creative and not creative stakeholders.

· Knowledge of different media channels (incl. digital, print, social etc.)

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field would be preferable e.g. Marketing or Business
