Business Development Manager

Salt has partnered with a rapidly growing tech- start up who sit in between tech and media and are looking to establish their business platform in the Australian Market. To build on their existing success overseas, they are looking to hire dedicated business development managers to join their team here in Sydney.

You will be successful in this role by utilising your existing networks and through relentlessly hunting for new business. Sales experience is a must, and communication skills are key! This is a unique opportunity that grants you the ability to leverage off a cutting-edge technology platform and be part of something big- from the beginning.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business utilising a number of strategies and adapting to different clients needs and wants
• Learn the platform inside out and confidently speak about it from start to finish of the sales lifecycle
• Recognise opportunities with existing clients
• Must be polished & a confident presenter
• Must have a sense of urgency in all that you do and must be outcome driven
• Report to your team lead and meet KPI’s
• Develop, adapt and plan sales strategies to optimise best outcomes
• Brief, pitch and present confidently to new clients and close deals
• Time management skills an absolute must!

Experience:

• Experience with CRM platforms and recording all relevant material (Experience with HubSpot advantageous)
• Pipeline reporting and management of sales pipelines both individually and within a team
• Presenting to clients and customers (both in person and via video call)
• Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel)
• Have strong understanding of KPI’s and confident with reaching targets on a weekly basis
