Azure Cloud Engineer (Azure DevOps, ARM Templates)

• Offering: $1000-1100 including super per day
• Location: 3 days a week in-office, 2 days WFH

• Work alongside other experienced technology professionals in this company’s Infrastructure Team
• Hybrid working model – 3 days a week in-office, 2 days WFH

What you’ll be doing?

• Working in this company’s Infrastructure Team to design and build scalable Azure solutions
• Implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Operating through a security lens, ensuring Azure environments adhere to strict security and compliance standards and implementing the necessary measures to protect data and applications
• Serving as a technical escalation point and SME for Microsoft Azure infrastructure technologies, providing education and the transfer of knowledge to team members

What you’ll bring?

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline deployments including Git and YAML.
• Experience utilising ARM (Azure Resource Manager) templates, PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI and Bash.
• Experience working in a complex, highly regulated environment would be highly desirable
• Enterprise solution design experience
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
• Background in traditional IT infrastructure: Active Directory, networking, DNS, Windows/Linux OS.
• Kubernetes, AKS and Container solution deployment experience
• Proven track record in large scale project delivery working to tight timeframes
• Experience using Terraform or Ansible
