DevOps & Infrastructure Manager – Melbourne CBD

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with an Australian Platforms and Marketing Services organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Manager to join their Cloud team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As the DevOps & Infrastructure Manager, you’ll be joining our clients established Cloud team, where you will be working within a mature Cloud (AWS) environment. As part of the role, you’ll be required to lead a high performing team of Support & Cloud Engineers and will help to define your team’s strategy, workload and will be responsible for ensuring their delivery success.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful DevOps & Infrastructure Manager should have the following skillset;

• Previous experience in managing Support and Cloud teams
• Have a solid understanding of the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services team
• Experienced in defining strategy, developing polices, processes and procedures
• Ability to work closely with various business stakeholders and understand their needs and expectations
• Technical knowledge of software development frameworks
• Have a strong knowledge of AWS
• Ability to drive adoption of CI/CD and Automation (BitBucket, Jenkins, Gitlabs, Git)
• Experience with network platforms (Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto)
• Experience managing cloud collaboration tools (o365, SharePoint, Slack, and Atlassian)
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
