The Company

Salt is excited to have teamed up with a leading Logistics and Supply Chain organisation based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking an IT Manager to join their Technology team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As the IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing technology outcomes for our Logistic clients Technology team, as well as enabling the delivery of services inline with their performance and growth targets.

You will be required to work closely with various business stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to ensure service delivery and provide advice & recommendations across IT Operations, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Transformation.

Key Skills and Competencies:

The successful IT Manager should have the following skill set:

• Previous experience working in a similar position
• Solid understanding of the day-to-day operations of managing IT / Technology teams
• Experienced in defining strategy, developing polices, processes and procedures
• Experience in managing various 3rd party Vendors
• Ability to work closely with various vendors and business stakeholders and understand their needs and expectations
• A strong technical background in IT Operations, Systems, Infrastructure or Cyber Security
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
