What you’ll be doing?

• Ensuring all desks and hardware are set up and ready for new starters

• Maintaining IT inventory management / asset management

• Basic troubleshooting of Windows/Linux/Mac devices whilst communicating with all staff on the ground floor

• Updating tickets and updating hardware tracking

• Be the first point of contact in the IT team for new starters

• Liasing with procurement, facilities and HR teams

What you’ll bring?

• This role is suitable for someone who is an IT graduate, or someone who is 1-3 years into their IT career

• A familiarity with computer setups and hardware

• An understanding of the different types of cables

• An understanding of how sound systems are put together

• An understanding of networking and connectivity

• You’re a self-starter with a genuine enthusiasm for IT

• Excellent communication and customer service skills. You’re able to communicate with IT team members as well as non-technical team members

• Experience with an IT Ticketing System (this company use JSM)

• Nice to Haves include if you have an interest in animation, and familiarity with the likes of Nuke, Maya or Photoshop
