The Company
Salt is excited to have teamed up with an one of Australia’s leading Online Entertainment organisations based in Melbourne, who is currently seeking a Principal Engineer to join one of their high-performing Engineering teams on a permanent basis.
The Role
As the Principal Engineer, you will be:
- Hands on and the technical lead for the development of the platform
- Responsible for team uplift and ensure that overall delivery is met
- Involved in setting the future direction of the platform
- Experienced in building scalable applications
- Experienced in full SDLC, Solution Design and Architecture
- Well versed in application security
Key Skills and Competencies
The successful Principal Engineer should have the following skill set:
- Previous experience working as a Principal Engineer or Tech Lead
- Extensive experience in various JavaScript framewoks and libraries (React.js, TypeScript)
- Hands-on knowledge of Mobile Development (iOS, Android, React Native)
- Experience with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS)
- Ability to effectively communication with Business Stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
