Seeking a well-rounded Product Owner to join one of the BIG-4 Banks in their marketing department, working to build their Data-warehouse’s hosted on Cloud based platforms.

THE ROLE:

You will be the Product Owner working with the Marketing Infrastructure team to maximise effective use and value of Marketing and Enterprise data assets by delivering a strategic roadmap for customer analytics and data that supports Marketing.

You will provide technical expertise to design and deliver cloud-based data and analytics solutions that are suitable for downstream Marketing Data Science and Customer Communications applications, and appropriately transition capability from legacy platforms.

• Work closely with marketers and data scientists to understand the business problem to provide solutions that are both commercially viable and customer focused.
• Actively engage in the whole lifecycle (inception, design, development, testing, deployment, operation, monitoring, and refinement) of data services.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must Have: Prior experience working in data warehousing with cloud-based environments.
• Must Have: At least 5 years working as a Product Owner.
• Would be nice: Snowflake experience.
• Would be nice: Prior knowledge working in the Banking/ Finance Sector.
• Proven expertise in delivering solutions across multiple data types (eg. Structured, unstructured, batch, streaming, log files).
• Qualifications across AWS domains including AWS Solutions Architect, Amazon Web Services or AWS Certified Sys Ops (or equivalent).
• Define and apply data architecture design principles to ensure scalability and re-usability of data products across multiple use cases.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure.
• Tertiary qualifications in related discipline.
