We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the Australian energy sector. Your primary focus will be to translate business planning outputs into structured and actionable projects for the upcoming year. This role will also involve building and managing project budgets to support our strategic objectives.

• $1100.00 a day Inclusive of superannuation
• Exposure to working alongside one of Australia’s largest energy providers.
• 6-month Day rate contract. Most likely to be extended ongoingly.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Your primary focus will be to translate business planning outputs into structured and actionable projects for the upcoming year. This role will also involve building and managing project budgets to support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to assess business planning outputs and translate them into project plans.
• Develop and implement structured project roadmaps to align with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Build and manage detailed project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Drive the successful delivery of projects focused on operational technology and business-critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide clear communication, reporting, and risk management across all project stages.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Australian energy industry.
• Strong background in Operational Technology, including exposure to:
• SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Metering systems
• Billing platforms
• Energy Management solutions
• Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly regarded.
