We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the Australian energy sector, specifically in Operational Technology (OT). Your primary focus will be to translate business planning outputs into structured and actionable OT projects for the upcoming year, with an emphasis on critical energy systems. This role will also involve building and managing project budgets to support our strategic objectives.

• $1100.00 a day Inclusive of superannuation
• Exposure to working alongside one of Australia’s largest energy providers.
• 6-month Rolling day rate contract.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, focusing on operational technology projects within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to assess business planning outputs and translate them into OT project plans.
• Develop and implement structured OT project roadmaps aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Build and manage detailed project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Drive the successful delivery of OT projects related to SCADA systems, metering, and energy management solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of OT initiatives.
• Provide clear communication, reporting, and risk management across all OT project stages.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Australian energy industry, focusing on Operational Technology.
• Strong background in OT systems such as:
• SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Advanced metering infrastructure
• Energy management platforms
• Grid control and monitoring systems
• Expertise in OT project planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver OT project outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant project management certifications (PMP, Prince2) are highly regarded.
