Creative Director

My client are a Global Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications agency looking for a Creative Director; this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading agency and work with some of the most famous brands within the FMCG, Hospitality and Automotive industries.

The role involves a sole focus on conceptual design and campaign management; you will be responsible for creating campaigns from initial brief to final product for a variety of clients. You will liaise with the client to develop brand strategies which you will then execute and oversee across your team of 12 designers.

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide the conceptual creative direction for projects by means of conceiving and expressing (both in written and diagrammatic form) robust creative strategy.
  • Have awareness of all work you are creatively responsible for.
  • Champion creativity and excellent customer centricity for all online/offline and experiential projects
  • Creatively direct concept designers/graphic designers / art workers harnessing their development and performance, in a manner that assures maximum efficiency and creativity.
  • To manage, supervise, review and audit the work of designers and art workers to ensure the creative level expected is being met.
  • To help drive maximum efficiency, productivity and the maintenance of the highest quality of creative concept, design and artwork.
  • To oversee, manage and review new creative concepts to both new and existing clients.
  • To act as brand guardian to ensure all design collateral produced is faithful to the client’s brand guidelines.
  • To work actively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the highest level of client service
  • As a senior team member and experienced professional, you’ll be expected to introduce and nurture strategy relevant opportunity
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills with the ability to guide the client through the complexities of creative conceptualising, production and delivery.
  • Work with delivery managers on the prioritisation of work and resources.
  • Lead, motivate and take people on the journey – whether that is your team, other peers or the
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and under pressure.
  • Work effectively with others to deliver high quality work – creative does not happen in a vacuum and a modern digital creative appreciates this fully.
  • Help develop innovative ideas and concepts.

To be considered for the role you will have experience as a Creative Director and creating campaigns from scratch; you will have a passion for conceptual design and have experience managing a team.
