HTML Banner Designer

£40-45,000 DOE | South London

A well-known creative agency is looking for an experienced HTML5 banner designer to join their mid-sized design studio situated client-side at one of the worlds biggest ethical retailers. Originally working from their South London based office (moving to London Bridge in August), the ideal candidate will not only have an eye for creative but the ability to execute and deliver their work on a live platform adhering to WC3 standards.

As the HTML5 Banner Developer, you’ll work across display advertising for desktop, mobile and web animations. You’ll be working as part of a versatile team and will have a self-starting attitude and the ability to independently see a project through from conception to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Fluent in Dynamic Banner Creation
  • Motion design knowledge – someone who can think through and execute on motion design to enhance everything from landing pages to client social feeds.
  • Timeline and code-based HTML animation using CSS or JavaScript libraries such as GreenSock and CreateJS
  • High competency within the Adobe Creative Suite with experience working across all of its main applications
  • 3 to 4 years of experience animating in HTML5/JavaScript or Flash
  • Strong understanding of layout and design
  • Experience working with rich media vendors such as DoubleClick Studio, DCM, Sizmek and Flashtalking

Experience

  • 4+ years working on site with clients, although agency side will be considered
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Integrated design experience is a bonus
