Sustainability and Consumer Consultant | Hybrid in London | 12 month contract | Inside IR35

Join a leading sustainability team committed to making a meaningful impact in the consumer space. We are looking for a seasoned consultant to provide expert guidance on sustainability initiatives for various consumer-facing teams.

The Role:

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be the go-to expert for technical sustainability support across our UK and European operations. You will collaborate with diverse teams including Ad Sales, Consumer Products, Brand Partnerships, and Title Publicity to drive sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for technical sustainability research requests from consumer-focused teams.
• Assist in the technical review of brands, products, claims, and materials for sustainability compliance.
• Support publicity teams working on sustainability-themed titles through research, fact-checking, and editorial reviews.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of UK/European green claims legislation and standards, summarizing key insights for internal stakeholders.
• Gather feedback from various teams to refine and enhance our sustainability support services.
• Provide project management support as needed.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in sustainability, with a focus on consumer-facing businesses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field preferred.
• Proven track record in assessing corporate sustainability performance and evaluating green claims.
• Strong understanding of consumer insights related to sustainability.
• Experience in writing sustainability-focused communications.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and uphold high ethical standards.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
