An awesome client who I have placed with for many years and growing slowly and organically and want to bring the best talent to help them do so. They specialise in producing messaging, design solutions and content for corporate and B2B audiences with their areas of expertise include Investor Communications, Employee Engagement, Sustainability, Brand, Campaigns and Regulatory affairs.

So, what is the role?

This Freelance Production Assistant role is a blend of runner and production assistant, offering essential support to the Producers and Executive Producer/Director with all aspects of production administration (including booking freelancers) and assistance on shoots.

This role provides a unique opportunity to develop existing skills, knowledge, and best practice through involvement with a variety of work tasks in an incredibly dynamic environment.

What you will be doing?

• Understand their offer and collaborate with others to build your interest in this.
• With the support of your manager and peers, develop and pursue fresh thinking and produce work which reflects that.
• Use feedback to develop and improve the work delivered.
• Contribute to a good working culture through development and deployment of good communication, behaviours and working practices.

What are your awesome responsibilities?

• Booking freelancers for shoots and post-production
• Produce and distribute call sheets
• Book production related travels (taxis, flights, accommodation)
• Support on shoots (carry kit, help set up, get lunch etc.)
• Clearing copyrights for music and library footage
• Organising meetings and schedules
• Booking and researching locations
• Organising filming permits
• General admin support for the production team

What brilliant skills of yours are they looking for?

• 2-3 years’ experience gained in a runner/Production Assistant role in an agency or production company environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Administrative and organisational skills
• An interest in film and television production
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere – desirable
