Title : Freelance Senior UX Product Designer

Start : Within the next 3-4 weeks

Length : 3 months – great chance of extension

Day rate : £700 per day

IR35 : Inside IR35 – Must invoice through your Umbrella company, legally cannot invoice through your Ltd for this one

Client : Retail client

Location : North/ West London

Remote : Hybrid – Minimum 3 days a week in-house, ideally more (This is mandatory, sadly remote/fewer days is not an option)

So, this client is looking for solid and extensive mobile app experience that is evident in the projects you will showcase, without strong evidence of this, sadly they will not be able to move forward with your entry.

Brief :

• You will be involved in redesigning the app for this client. A huge and very exciting role.
• Being fully attached to the apps team and reporting to the Head of Product.
• This is more UX-focused, being 70% UX + 30% UI.
• The essential? Lots of app experience so that you can bring in a wealth of UX app experience to this project.
• They need someone who can do UX investigation, discovery exploration workshops, and informed design.
• Must show whats showing the information in the design, not just wireframes
• Everything is Data-driven, and informed design is what they are looking for
• Good App and UI skills
• Legacy Design system is in the app at this client, whilst they have a Design System and System components, they want to expand and improve this.
• You need to be able to do some UX user testing.
• You need to talk about user testing and be confident.

The setup:

• They have 25 designers on the team
• They have Design Systems
• They do internal research, they assist with User testing.
