SERVICE DESIGNER REQUIRED | Swindon | Finance | Contract

The organisation I am working with is at the forefront of innovation and transformation in the digital arena. They are exceptional and bridging the gap between Research, Service Design, User Experience, Customer Experience and Emerging Technology.

The Service Designer’s work will be to focus on the end-to-end journey across all the points for services and to gather and facilitate sessions with multiple multi-disciplinary teams to design materials that serve as a blueprint reference informed by research, digital technology capabilities and business goals. The final design reference will be used by the Service Designer to help evaluate and select the best solutions & platforms for implementation, supporting any detailed design and requirements required to support either migrations or greenfield design and development. We are looking for someone who can help refocus and reflect on the end-to-end customer operating model and aid the business in creating a friction-less customer journey.

What you will do

• Work with clients to create a clear brief based on their challenge and needs
• Lead projects and see them through to conclusion
• Undertake stakeholder and user research
• Take research insights and turn them into design recommendations
• Facilitate workshops
• Create personas, customer journeys/service maps
• Develop service concepts and specifications
• Think and work strategically with an understanding of how design thinking is applied to business
• Keep up to date on industry best practice and trends
• Help clients to set and measure success criteria and KPI’s
• Articulate your findings in a format appropriate for the audience
• Actively manage clients and stakeholders, reporting back on progress and new opportunities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage project scope, budget and risks
