Freelance SQL Data Analyst

Salt are working with one of the world’s leading SaaS companies, empowering businesses with data-driven insights to optimise operations and drive growth.
I’m seeking a Freelance SQL Data Analyst to join the team and play a crucial role in extracting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and engineering to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Long term contract
- Day rate DOE, inside IR35
- Hybrid working in London (Not negotiable)
You will:
- Design and develop SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiples sources, including data warehouses, and third-party APIs
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy
- Perform analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and uncover actionable insights
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
You will need:
- Strong and demonstrable proficiency in SQL and experience working with related databases
- Familiarity with programming languages – Python, R etc. for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualisation tool – Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar
- Ideally previous experience working in the SaaS space
