Duration: 6 months

Rate: £437.78 Umbrella

Flexibility: The role is hybrid and there’s a requirement to be in the office 2 days per week. We are based at Brixton Civic Centre, 5 minute’s walk from the Tube and Rail stations. The contract will be 6 months initially and potentially extending to 12 months. We are looking to start interviewing as soon as possible (in the next 2 weeks).

What they need:

• Supporting Leisure Services following the insourcing of the council’s Leisure contract.
• Good TUPE knowledge and experience is required for this role, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Supporting, coaching, challenging and empowering Directorate line managers in managing people issues, as well as developing and embedding the new service.
• Experience of dealing with local trade union (TU) representatives in relation to individual cases or local collective issues.
• Finds solutions to problems relating to strategic, policy or legal constraints or requirements.
• Understands local issues in the Directorates and takes action based on the implications from an HR perspective.
