Transformation/Change Project Manager

Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement with a local government client of ours who is looking for a Transformation/Change Project Manager.

This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 6 months initially with a set daily rate at £450. It would be a hybrid role with 3 days a week expected in office, based in Berkshire.

The Project Manager will focus on initiating changes that enhance service efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve council operations.

Key responsibilities:

* Working with Directors, ADs and Heads of Service to define, plan and execute the project to deliver the objectives.

* Responsible for delivery of allocated projects, working closely with colleagues across the organisation and with the Business Change team, especially the PMO and Programme Delivery Manager to ensure successful implementation.

* Accountable for project plan, risks/issues, finances and change management of allocated projects, reporting of project status to relevant leaders and Programme Manager.

* Relevant Project Management qualification or skills and experience (PRINCE2 or similar).

* Knowledge/experience of working in local government.

* Experience of creating and delivering large scale events with multiple pillars for a large audience.

* Relevant Change Management qualification or skills and experience (Prosci or similar).
