Salt is currently working with an ambitious Crypto Marketing consultancy on a mission to help innovative companies reach their target audience. They help transform their clients marketing efforts, ensuring their projects reach the right audience and achieve their required goals.

They are now on the hunt for a driven & hard-working Head of Content & SEO to join the team and take full responsibility for executing their SEO & Content Marketing strategy for a variety of their clients. Reporting directly into the CEO, this role is a perfect fit for someone who is wanting to join an ever-growing team and make a real and measurable impact in a growing business.

This is not a typical SEO role as there is no real technical side to this SEO. It is wholly offsite and content-based. So they are looking for someone who can mix SEO skills with Content Marketing operations together to manage and execute an extensive Content Marketing operation whilst managing & growing the team.

Responsibilities:

• You must be able to lead both the strategic level in search marketing and also get stuck into the day-to-day.
• Line management & hiring of the SEO & Content team.
• End-to-end responsibility of the Content Marketing process.
• Manage the Content Production agencies in order to deliver optimised Content in a timely manner as well as the Content distribution agencies to secure strong placements in accordance to the business plan.
• Executing & optimising the existing SEO & Content Marketing strategy as well as reporting on results.
• Responsibility of setting & hitting ranking & revenue targets.
• Identify new opportunities by analysing the search landscape.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in an SEO/Content based role- ideally you will already be in a ‘Head of’ position.
• Must have experience working within trading/Crypto/Blockchain
• You will ideally have previous experience working agency side.
• An understanding of operations is crucial for this- what levers to pull and when it is crucial, as well as the ability to follow the process and keep it moving at all times.
• An extensive background within SEO & Content Marketing.
• Experience working within a start-up will be a huge bonus.
• Experience managing a team.
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush / Ahrefs / Google SearchConsole etc.
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish.
