Junior Content Planner

My client, an award-winning digital agency is seeking a Junior Content Planner to join their team. By supporting their customers globally, they bring cutting edge technology and creativity together to deliver the best service for their client

This role reports into the Content Strategist and will be part of a team of 3 content personnel. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years experience in content planning and research. Who is looking for a step up into a team who can massively help with development.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day planning of content, allocating copy and design resource, proofing copy/designs, building content in CMS, and connecting with European content partners
• Contribute to and maintain the editorial calendar
• Creating copywriting and design briefs for client
• Build strong relationships with Clients and European content partners
• Contributing to quarterly content planning sessions and brainstorming new ideas
• Undertaking content and audience research tasks, using various market insights, social listening, buzz monitoring tools (Contagious IO, Crimson Hexagon, Buzzsumo, BrightEdge, Brand watch, etc.)
• Support in the creation of presentations for Members and other content pitches and projects
• Co-ordinating and working with internal data & insight specialists for reports
• Keeping up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes
• Working with other teams such as SEO and Data Insights to maximise research for content planning
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Content Strategist

The ideal person will have:

• Experience working on digital content planning and maintaining editorial calendars
• Excellent client management and communication skills
• Creative thinking and regular idea generation
• Experience in a creative or digital marketing agency environment preferable
• Ability to conduct independent research using a proactive approach
• Experience using social listening and research tools e.g. Crimson Hexagon, BrightEdge, and Buzzsumo
