The Opportunity

My client is one of the largest transport franchises in the UK and are currently undergoing a large scale digital transformation. As part of this project, they are seeking a talented Senior Content Manager to join their team in a newly created role, to take ownership of all four brands content strategy with a focus on driving new customer acquisition and engagement.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Customer Marketing, and working as part of a lean digital team, the Senior Content Manager will be responsible for:

• Defining and delivering a Content strategy for each of the four brands within the franchise.
• Owning the content calendar and developing a tool kit that will ensure that the content lifecycle is robust and refreshed regularly with engaging content.
• Ensure that content delivers to KPIs – Increasing website traffic, customer sign ups and ecommerce conversions.
• Contribute new ideas and monitor competitor activity to ensure the business is up to date with digital innovation and content best practise.
• Ensure marketing campaigns and digital channels are optimised
• Influence, educate and manage internal and external stakeholders of varied seniority to deliver content campaigns on time and to budget.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience delivering an end to end digital content strategy that has led to increased website traffic, new customer registrations and ecommerce sales.
• Fantastic copywriting and content creation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and be able to understand what makes successful content.
• Exceptional communication – this role will liaise with stakeholders internally and externally, so the successful candidate will be articulate and confident in their approach.
• Strong prioritisation and the ability to manage your own workload.
