The Role

As the Senior Social Media Strategist, you will be sitting within the Global Communications team, enhancing the Reputation of Social globally. Working with the Global Head of Social Strategy to implement best in class social strategy. Being a trusted advisor on everything Social being the go to person, it will be crucial to be extremely knowledgeable.

Responsibilities

• Development of Social media content strategy and managing the Budget that comes with this, supporting the wider commercial brand.
• Help implement a social and digital process for the long term.
• Be the person who champions innovative ideas to engage with the audience and become industry leader in social and digital.
• Manage agencies, publishers, platforms (directly and indirectly) and other partners to build, execute and measure social media plans that connect with stakeholders, maximize engagement and create advocacy
• Lead the social and community manager

The Person

• Excellent understanding of social media and its use by corporates, the media and wider public.
• A strong storyteller and creative professional who can advise on solutions for content.
• Experience of driving conversation and moderating social media channels
• Ability to plan, prioritise and to escalate where necessary
• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Experience of working with big corporate companies.
