eCommerce Operations Manager

My client are a large global FMCG business with many household brands under their umbrella. They have recently looked to launch a new eCommerce hub in London to strengthen their commercial offering online. With this they are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to manage the day to day operations for the website including product data management and programming.

Role:

• Point of call for implementing processes to meet business needs for the product items including the full content setup – this has a particular focus on Amazon
• Program new and existing product changes into retailer eCommerce systems
• Collaborate with the eCommerce team on all product entitlements, and item setup needs Define and implement strategies to display / scale product variations on the key categories and ensure product visibility on Amazon
• Manage the development and deployment of product launches and content updates across retailer Amazon in EU
• Manage continuous improvement of product launch procedures across Amazon and other retailers
• Assists in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
• Reports and tracking of product launches to inform the eCommerce team
• Work closely with the US based Operations & Production team

Requirements:

• Database management
• Product catalogue management
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of Amazon backend – Vendor Central
• Can handle rapidly changing priorities and projects (multitasking)
• A lot of this will be about problem solving.

Preferred:

• Languages (German or French) – would be an advantage
