Digital Messaging Specialist – Arabic Speaker

The Company

My client is a financial services giant who are a truly global business. They are one of the largest companies in the banking space and are currently going through a huge digital transformation.

The Role

The role sits within the Messaging team which is in the wider Digital department. An understanding of digital messaging, digital best practice and customer segmentation is fundamental. The successful candidate will be familiar with the following messaging tools; digital banners, Mobile app, Email, SMS and Public Website banners.

Main Job Responsibilities

· Leading MENA digital messaging in accordance with Digital best practice principles

· Working with the local market to define their messaging strategy using numerous data sources as well as consumer trends and business objectives

· Continuous optimisation of messaging, using performance data to identify insights and new opportunities

· Managing key stakeholders both locally within MENA markets as well as global teams within digital, design, analytics and technology

· Establishing excellent working relationship with digital teams and the wider content stakeholders across the business

Key Skills and Experience

· Fluent written and oral Arabic and English ability to conduct meetings, discuss ideas and build relationships with native speakers as well as being able to produce message copy in Arabic language where required.

· Experience in developing digital message recommendations, based on commercial objectives, customer insight and competitor information

· Have strong understanding of using performance and insights to optimise campaigns,

· Project management experience – owning activity from concept to delivery within specified time scales

· Experience of working with tools for audience segmentation such as DMP’s or CRM systems

· A self-starter who is comfortable in working with a team based off-shore
