Events Marketing Manager

Salt is proud to collaborate with a brand new client, a leader in the software industry as they seek to hire a smart, ambitious Event Marketing Manager for a 6 month contract role which will be focusing on leading and executing event programs across the region.

In this role, you will work directly with the EMEA Marketing Director and wider team, to oversee the production and organisation of third-party, owned or partner events that help to drive demand and effectively communicate with multiple, cross-functional teams (EMEA). This is a part time working opportunity of circa 2 days per week or 4 half days if of preference and also providing the option of fully remote or Hybrid to a Central London HQ. This role has potential to further extend into a permanent full-time placement if of interest to the freelance contractor.

Key Role Requirements:

• Support the EMEA team with sponsored event logistics
• Manage the requirements, timelines and deliverables for multiple field event projects
• Coordinate pre-event, onsite, and post-event logistics using tools such as Domo, Asana, Salesforce and virtual event platforms for both in-person and virtual sponsored events
• Collaborate with the internal teams to identify customer speakers and hosts
• Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams around each event
• Ensure contracts for vendors have been appropriately documented and executed
• Receive and facilitate invoices and payments, and assist with budget tracking

Key Skill Requirements:

• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage logistics and deadlines for multiple projects
• Previous experience working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Slack, Asana, digital event platforms, and/or Salesforce is a plus, but not required
• Be passionate about events and driving business, event delivery, establishing and maintaining partnerships
• 5+ years experience in event planning and/or trade show production
• Hold excellent with written and verbal communication
• Ability to work efficiently both with a team and autonomously
