Internal Communications Manager – Contract

Salt is working with one of the UK’s organisations for international cultural relations who are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to help support the development and execution of internal communication strategies that support global initiatives.

You will need a deep understanding of change communications, strong influencing abilities, and the creativity to develop and implement innovative communications campaigns.

• September start, 6-month contract
• £22.50 per hour (inside IR35), 36 hours per week
• London hybrid working (1 day each week onsite)

As an Internal Communications Manager, you will:

• Support the creation and implementation of internal communication strategies
• Develop and execute communication plans that effectively manage change within the organisation, ensuring that employees are informed, engaged, and supportive of new initiatives
• Write, edit, and produce high-quality communication materials, including emails, newsletters, presentations, and intranet content, that engage and inform a global audience
• Conceptualise and implement creative communication campaigns that resonate with diverse employee groups
• Ensure all campaigns are executed to the highest standard and deliver measurable results

You will need:

• Strong experience in internal communications, ideally within a large global organisation
• Good experience in change communications, with a record of successfully managing communications during periods of change
• The ability to influence others, and engage and persuade senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Experience developing creative concepts and translating them into effective communication campaigns
