I am excited to say we are working with a publication business that has seen considerable growth in recent years and is predicting further growth to come. They are looking to hire their first Marketing Director into the business to help implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness.

This role would ideally suit a candidate that comes from a publishing or events background and within the first 6-12 months can help shape the Marketing Strategy for the business and build out the Marketing team, currently a team of 3!

Role and Responsibilities ?

· Initially the key responsibility will be devising and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy.

· Utilise marketing tools to create community engagement across their desired audiences.

· Oversee full management of the annual Marketing budget, continually reviewing spend in line with this.

· Develop and install Marketing best practice within the business, working cross functionally with other business departments to deliver this.

· Provide mentorship to the current marketing team and be responsible for growing the team headcount.

· Be responsible for marketing partnerships, identifying possible business opportunities.

You

This is a role for someone passionate and energetic, who is able to lead on strategy but also initially get hands-on and help with the doing. You’ll need:

· Proven track record in Marketing, working in a B2B2C type audience at a Senior Head of/Director level.

· Strong leader – they have a great team and very keen to keep them happy and motivated!

· Motivational.
