Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a dynamic Player/Manager to combine hands-on sales with leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who can drive revenue while managing a small team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Account Managers and SDRs, setting targets and driving results.
- Maintain a personal sales quota, actively engaging in high-value sales activities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and operations teams to optimise sales efforts.
- Promote company values, fostering a culture of innovation and empowerment.
- Utilise AI tools and data-driven insights to improve sales efficiency and customer engagement.
- Track performance metrics and report regularly to senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a player/manager sales role, ideally within technology, distribution, or B2B sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach.
- Ability to drive both individual and team sales performance.
- Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
- Strong business acumen, with expertise in negotiating and closing high-value deals.
- Proficiency in AI-driven sales technology.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
