Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement will play a critical role in defining the future of a sales organization. This greenfield opportunity offers the chance to establish and develop a sales enablement function from the ground up. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and scaling an enablement program that equips sales teams with the tools and strategies needed to drive exceptional results. By creating innovative frameworks, resources, and training programs, the successful candidate will directly impact the success and growth of go-to-market efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding and Training
- Design and deliver a world-class onboarding program to accelerate new sales hires’ time-to-productivity.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum to upskill existing team members on products, sales methodologies, and market trends.
- Integrate proven selling methodologies, such as MEDDPIC, to improve the team’s effectiveness.
Sales Playbooks and Resources
- Develop and manage sales playbooks that provide clear, actionable strategies for engaging prospects.
- Create collateral and guides tailored to buyer personas, pain points, and use cases.
Sales Strategy Enablement
- Translate go-to-market and sales strategies into practical frameworks for the sales team.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to align enablement initiatives with overarching business goals.
Tools and Technology
- Drive the adoption and optimization of sales tools, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement tools, and analytics dashboards.
- Collaborate with RevOps to ensure tools align with the sales process and deliver actionable insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Marketing, RevOps, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and positioning.
- Serve as a feedback channel between the sales team and other areas of the organization to refine strategies and offerings.
Metrics and Reporting
- Define success metrics for enablement programs and measure their impact on sales performance.
- Continuously refine enablement initiatives based on data-driven insights.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, with a history of implementing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Experience with frameworks such as MEDDPIC or similar selling methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, or comparable platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate sales teams.
- Strong organizational skills and a focus on execution and attention to detail.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven company is preferred.
