SalesForce Developer – Malta

Cloud Infrastructure & EUC

Europe Permanent £50000.00 - £65000.00 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Visualforce and Lightning applications using the latest Salesforce technologies.
  • Utilize advanced Salesforce functionality to address business challenges and create customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Build integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API.
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices for integrating Salesforce with in-house and third-party systems.
  • Foster standards and technical excellence within the team by supporting junior colleagues with their development.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce to enhance productivity for a rapidly scaling sales team.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Salesforce.com data model, including the creation of custom objects, junction objects, and other model items.
  • Continuously evaluate the existing Salesforce security and architecture to ensure manageability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with product managers and key stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring regular updates and meeting all requirements.

    • Competencies & Experience:

  • Proficiency in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce.com technologies.
  • Experience in migrating applications to the Lightning platform.
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
  • Ability to construct SOQL queries to interact with the Salesforce database.
  • Experience in developing REST API integrations.
  • Understanding of data structures and their application in Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Administration, including profile management, team management, and security.
  • Experience in building international CRM systems with localization.
  • Ability to write comprehensive documentation, including code documentation and user manuals.
  • Hands-on experience working with JavaScript within Salesforce (VF pages, Aura components, and/or LWC).
  • Forward-thinking and collaborative team player.
  • Advocate for industry best practices and frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

    • Note: This position is based in Malta and requires in-office presence for a few days a week, with one day of remote work. No visa sponsorship is provided.
