Solaris Engineer required for a global leader for a 6-month rolling contract (remote-based)
The Engineer will migrate into Engineering where they will be responsible for creating and furthering the development of the Solaris build environment, including automating and creating the framework
The role:
– Patch release 4x for Solaris 10 & Solaris 11
– Build Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 packages
– Engineer, test, and release patches
– Test documentation and evidence
– Patch engineering instances
Skills needed
– Solaris 10 & 11 background
– Ability to service special projects such as complex upgrades and new hardware certifications
– String firmware experience
– Ability to Review CIS profile and deploy new fix rules
– Proven background of working with Infrastructure teams
This role will be remotely based throughout and will be within IR35
