Cyber Security Engineer

We have partnered with a multinational information technology services and consulting company that is seeking to expand their Cyber Security team!

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer with a focus on Endpoint Security to join their growing team in Rugby. You’ll need solid experience in multiple cybersecurity domains, with a strong understanding of endpoint security solutions, vulnerability management, and SIEM tools. This is a classified project requiring you to be SC cleared.

Location – Rugby, with 4 days in the office
Salary – £80,000
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required (lapsed SC not considered)
Shift: 24/7 support, with on-call availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage security technologies such as:
• Endpoint Privilege Management (Arcon or similar)
• Endpoint Security (Trellix Anti-Malware, Encryption, ePO, DLP)
• Vulnerability Management (Tenable SC or similar)
• SIEM configuration, logging, and alerting (Trellix SIEM or similar)
• Forensics tools like Axiom Magnet Forensics (optional)
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and manage audits
• Implement and manage ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management)
• Suggest and implement best practices across the cybersecurity domain

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with HMGSPF, JSP 440/490, and NCSC guidelines
• Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, etc.) are preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly resolve security incidents
• Knowledge of networks, domain structures, and IT infrastructure security

This role involves classified projects, so only candidates with British nationality (no dual citizenships) can be considered. You will provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.
