We are looking for an empathetic problem-solver, with tons of experience in AWS Infrastructure and Automation, to help us launch the next generation of best-in-class mobile apps to the millions of guests of our client.

Your responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the teams AWS platform and operations

• Using your AWS expertise and experience to build scaled and resilient services

• Leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code for managing and provisioning resources

• Building CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments

• Managing cloud and engineering contributions to product development

• Playing a proactive leadership role in building a world-class engineering team

• Helping with attracting and recruiting outstanding engineers

• Mentoring and providing support to junior colleagues

• Keeping up-to-date with latest developments by attending conferences

• Evangelising and instilling best practices across the organisation

The Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in:

• Designing and building secure, scaled and resilient cloud systems

• Using Infrastructure-as-Code for managing and provisioning resources

• CI/CD deployment of back-end pipelines and front-end apps

• Working with AWS CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, EKS, Lambda

• Using programming/scripting languages such as Python and Shell

• Working with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• AWS Solution Architect or similar certification is desirable
