Rate: 800 -900 euros per day

Duration: 1-2-year contract.

I have a client who is looking for an Exceptional .NET DevOps Engineer on a long term contract to be based in Brussels.

• The .Net Application Integration Services Scrum is reinforcing its DEV team with a .Net DevOps Engineer focusing on Quality Assurance and Integration.

• The team is managing Middleware technologies and developing technical components for the functional software development’s scrums.
  The development encompasses amongst others bespoke Security Token and Signature Management services and connectors.
• Other bespoke solutions are developed in C# .Net for Windows-based application and in C++ for cross-platform needs (Windows and Red Hat Linux).
• These bespoke solutions cover a broad range of technical needs: API and driver for IBM WebSphere MQ, File Transfer framework, Security Federation, Data Access, Error Handling & Tracing, etc.

Description

You’ll join a dynamic and fast-paced scrum of engineers to ensure that our software meets high quality standard.

• As owner of the team’s QA, you will execute existing and create new ad-hoc and permanent automated testing for both UI-based applications and lower-level frameworks.

• Be a part of a hands-on team that fosters creativity and innovation.
  The role is about improving, extending, maintaining, documenting and supporting the team testing infrastructure, contributing to test creation and code review.

• As part of the role the existing frameworks documentation will have to be revised, improved and released.

• In a second phase, you will enlarge your role to deliver bug fixes and maintenance.
  This will include all technologies and components to eventually become able to ensure the third level Production support.
  It is a long term mission with potential evolution to other responsibilities.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies & practices
Good understanding of .Net application development & testing
Ability to investigate and troubleshoot / debug difficult problems

Required skills: NET DevOps Engineer (Team Lead) – Banking Client – Brussels

• .Net C# development, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps
• Windows Server System
• Unit Testing creation and automation
• Integration Test creation and automation using Azure DevOps and other testing tools
• Certificate management, advanced network topologies, DMZ
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Security in Windows Server environment such as Keberos, Active Directory.

Troubleshooting, practical OSI model knowledge

Asset:
OpenID, OAuth, SAML, C++, Ansible, WIF, iPrincipal, WS-Security
Queuing middleware programs ideally integrated with IBM WebSphereMQ.

Knowledge of cross-cutting concerns in a multi-data center context: stateless & statefull principle, fail over, data integrity and consistency group, recovery…
