SalesForce DevOps Engineer | Kent | 3 month initial contract

Description

One of the largest independent Tour Operators in the UK is looking to recruit a SalesForce DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic digital marketing team on a contract basis to head the roll out of SalesForce CRM and Marketing Cloud. You will work in a fast paced, fluid environment and be responsible for managing the deployment of SalesForce and integration with various internal and external systems. Leading the SalesForce project you will be fully hands-on, fully participating in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing and implementation of Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Setup SalesForce CRM
• Work with the marketing team to ensure data is merged, deduplicated, cleaned and imported – including setting up custom fields in SalesForce.
• Work with IT team and external telephony company to assist with Avaya Contact Centre and SaleForces integration where necessary
• Integrate Emarsys, our third party email service provider, using the Emarsys SalesForce API (see docs here – https://help.emarsys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001168174-Salesforce-CRM-Integration-Manual)
• Integrate iVector Reservations System with SalesForce using API calls
• Add SalesForce tracking code to Website
• Integrate PiwkPro and SalesForce user IDs

Requirements

• 3+ years Salesforce Administration, Release Management or Developer experience
• Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer credentials
• Ability to read, interpret and write Apex, SQL/SOQL code
• Expert technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps)
• Ability to design for processes that are efficient and solutions that are scalable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and refined relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical thinking capabilities and creative problem-solving skills
• Good organisational skills with great attention to detail
