Senior Site Reliability Engineer | £65k – £80k | Fully Remote

We’ve partnered with one of Europe’s most exciting and fastest-growing e-commerce startups, known for their innovation and ambitious growth plans, they’re building a world-class Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function and are looking for a Senior SRE to help drive automation, reliability, and performance across their systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building & Automating Reliable Systems – Design and implement scalable, self-healing infrastructure
• Enhancing Observability & Performance – Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting – Lead root cause analysis and reliability improvements
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation – Leverage Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for system orchestration
• Ensuring 24/7 System Uptime – Participate in an on-call rota (paid) to maintain critical infrastructure availability

Requirements:

• Proven SRE Expertise – Hands-on experience in scalability, reliability engineering, and performance tuning
• Cloud & Container Proficiency – Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Kubernetes & Docker (GCP is preferred)
• Programming & Automation Skills – Comfortable with Python, Go, or Java, and automation tools like Terraform & Ansible
• Problem-Solving Mindset – Ability to diagnose complex issues, optimise performance, and improve system resilience
