We are looking for a highly capable contractor who can come into the business and quickly establish a successful direction for a new product, including the migration of legacy. This is an Enterprise ERP solution for the construction industry, built on the Dynamics Business Central platform. The successful candidate must quickly earn the confidence of the Commercial, Engineering and Leadership teams as they will own one of the highest priority objectives with some of the most important customers. You will have a strong commercial edge to your thinking and be able to talk technology with the engineering team.
What we are looking for from you:
- Good amount of years of product management experience
- Proven success in bringing enterprise level B2B solutions to market
- Proven ability to articulate a product vision and to then motivate a team to deliver against that vision
- Experienced in making decisions quickly in order to seize opportunities that will lead to success
- Strong commercial understanding
- Demonstrable experience of working with Design & Engineering to build products that customers love to use
- A self starter that demonstrates initiative and tenacity while working independently. Thrives on challenges and is not deterred by difficult situations. Works proactively not reactively.
- Laser focus on providing an excellent user experience that drives business results
- Deep, practical experience of agile delivery from a product perspective
What will you do?
- Work with the CPTO and the broader team to validate and define the product strategy.
- Establish the programme to move a legacy product, to a new product, get it moving and then hand it over to a full time product director in Oct/Nov 2023
