Global IT Service Provider is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team for a long term client engagement.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil the role of the Scrum Master, guiding multiple Scrum Teams using the Agile processes
  • Facilitate all Agile events including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and daily stand ups etc.,
  • Responsible for creatively removing impediments from the Scrum team so they can continue to perform at their best
  • Create, maintain and deliver on project and work stream plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing understanding and needs
  • Identify and manage the risks associated with projects to achieve project success
  • Educate the Product Owner on refining the product backlog and make them ready for upcoming sprints
  • Work together with team during project estimation sessions and share understanding of projected duration and release plans with leadership team
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving
  • Influence others including those more senior on best practices in Agile
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity.
  • Works with other Scrum Masters within the Program to increase the effectiveness of the application of Agile/Scrum
