Global IT Service Provider is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team for a long term client engagement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Fulfil the role of the Scrum Master, guiding multiple Scrum Teams using the Agile processes
- Facilitate all Agile events including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and daily stand ups etc.,
- Responsible for creatively removing impediments from the Scrum team so they can continue to perform at their best
- Create, maintain and deliver on project and work stream plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing understanding and needs
- Identify and manage the risks associated with projects to achieve project success
- Educate the Product Owner on refining the product backlog and make them ready for upcoming sprints
- Work together with team during project estimation sessions and share understanding of projected duration and release plans with leadership team
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving
- Influence others including those more senior on best practices in Agile
- Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity.
- Works with other Scrum Masters within the Program to increase the effectiveness of the application of Agile/Scrum
