Senior Product Manager

Product Management

Greater London Permanent £85000.00 - £100000.00 per annum + Options

Salt have started the year partnering with one of Europe’s most exciting technology companies, steadfast in simplifying cooking experiences for people in the comfort of their own homes.

Their proprietary OS platform has been completely inhouse, connecting some of the worlds best known appliance brands with customers via their platform and app experience.

Following a successful 2024 and continued growth plans and partner expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead their core value stream around their smart cooking companion. You’ll be working closely with an excellent Product leadership team, shaping the strategic direction of the group, delivering new connected cooking experiences for their users.

They’re looking for a Senior Product Manager comfortable steering direction autonomously who is excited to work with on the cutting edge of IoT and AI with a strong strategic focus on the latter, leveraging LLM’s to improve the companion experience. You’ll work closely with design, platform and Ai engineers on a daily basis, coordinating and delivering a product across multiple teams in a cross functional value stream.

It’s worth noting you’ll be less focused on execution and running sprints, focusing more on strategic direction.

Here are a few key requirements:

  • Experience working with AI, ML and LLM focused consumer products.
  • A strong interest in emerging AI / LLM technologies, with demonstrable experience working with machine learning or AI teams.
  • At least 5 years experience working on consumer tech products.
  • Demonstrable experience if impact and achievements when launching a product.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced tech company, start-up or scale-up.
  • Experience of test and learn discovery methods. A clear bias to action – delivering what matters most iteratively and not waiting for ‘perfect’.

The position will be primarily remote in the UK, Ireland, Spain or Portugal with quarterly travel to Dublin and occasional meet-ups with the UK based Product team.

The interview process involves 4 key stages:

  • Screener Interview
  • Product Management Interview (deep dive into key accomplishments, products and projects)
  • Technical/ AI interview with Head of Machine Learning. (Not a technical test but focussed on previous experience working with ML and data teams)
  • Team Interview

If you’re an experienced Senior Product Manager, excited about using cutting edge technology to make cooking more accessible for people, encouraging more people to cook, making the people around them happier, healthier, and living more sustainably, then please apply today for a call to discuss the role further.
