Data Migration Project Manager

I am looking for a Data Migration Project manager who has expert knowledge of project management and experience of projects involving a significant data migration element. You will work with all others as necessary within the project including the Data Architect, Solution Architect, Senior Project Manager, and Business Analysts and other stakeholders to establish an optimal solution which meets requirements, adheres to technical strategy/constraints and considers total cost of ownership.

Essential experience

• Management of large £10M +projects in large, complex, and regulated organisations with multiple interfaces and delivering to time, budget, and quality
• Good knowledge of architectural data principles and the relationship between data sets and related data, application, and technology domains.
• Data modelling/structures, data governance, data strategies, data quality and data migration
• Good understanding of data tooling, data transformation/extraction and loading techniques, tools and frameworks
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and influence people at all levels across the organisation and outside, including negotiating, successfully facilitating joint decision making and clearly convey concepts, proposals and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to develop data specific project plans encompassing, but not limited to, data strategy, data migration, data modelling, data testing, internal and external data sets.
• Extensive data delivery experience with demonstrable skills in high volume data migration scenarios
• Proficient in managing applying project and workstream risk management methods and techniques for the assessment and management of technology and business risk at project level.
