Our client is a leading e-commerce marketplace platform, revolutionising the way people shop for retail goods. They connect a vast network of sellers with discerning customers, offering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.

The Role

As a Digital Delivery Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring their customers have a seamless shopping experience that is efficient and reliable. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the delivery process but with an emphasis on the e-commerce side of things, from browsing to the moment an item is purchased and the journey that encompasses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise delivery efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee on-time delivery performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead communication with stakeholders and set-up and facilitate Digital tribe portfolio ceremonies including planning and delivery syncs
  • Facilitate squads to deliver business value, through coordinating dependencies and resolving impediments; ensuring that the e2e Digital solution can be delivered, including where there are third-party suppliers involved
  • Work in partnership with the wider business to orchestrate solutions that drive innovation and future digital thinking
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in ecommerce delivery
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Analyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement across the entire delivery process
  • Strong stakeholder management; ability to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within Digital tribes and with the wider stakeholder community.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and digital product development

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within ecommerce and retail
  • A strong understanding of the consumer journey, including basket, checkout, and payment processes
  • Proven experience in managing and optimising delivery operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A data-driven approach with a strong analytical mind
  • A passion for customer service and a commitment to continuous improvement
