Junior IT Process Analyst (BPMN, UML, Documentation) – Banking Client
Duration: 1 year contract
Rate: €400 per day
Remote Working: 1 day in the office in Brussels per week
Objectives:
Support Project Lead (EDO) in scope definition by understanding the overall objective and constraints.
Collect requirements and transform them into a structured and comprehensive work product.
Define clear acceptance criteria which can serve as a comprehensive test set.
As part of the Identity and Access Management Program and the tactical “License To Operate” model, this project will focus on documenting the current IDAM processes with the view to:
Performing tactical gap analysis and remediation of priority gaps for the delta between current IDAM processes and controls and the strategic Operating Framework and services
Lay the foundation for strategic process redesign and implementation in line with the strategic Target Operating Model, as part of Process redesign project
Responsibilities:
Participate in the initial feasibility study.
Partner with stakeholders across different teams to develop analysis, documentation, and validation, providing clear scope of the requirements (BSR – Business Stakeholder Requirements)
Evaluate, analyse the detailed list of all functional and non-functional requirements which can be translated into functional and technical specifications.
Analyse the impact and the risks of a new service development on the current system. Capitalise on the existing security measures or mitigations in place and identify benefit profiles.
Analyse moderately complex business requirements, processes and IT systems to envision and compare multiple solutions and select the best fit
Provide support during the Functional & Operational Validation of the solution and ensure the traceability of the testing results.
Update internal and external documentation to ensure its up to date like the SOPs(expand) or training material.
Advise, coach and support the process owners in :
identifying & documenting all process stakeholders across all IT divisions
planning, co-ordinating & facilitate workshops to building a detailed process overview in the defined standards.
mapping known risks and mitigating controls on to the process.
identify gaps (missing risks & controls) where possible.
build & document the findings into the Process Guide for upload into the process library.
identifying the right process KPIs needed
validate the outputs with the key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and responsibility.
Perform gap remediation activities by way of control implementations or other actions where required
Provide continuous feedback towards the Process Owner in relation to output above.
Share best practises on process design and mapping.
Take part in the planning of the process maturity backlog.
Adhere to the group methodology.
Adhere to IT controls and support in Controls Implementation
Create and document business processes using BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation) tools.
Collaborate with the change management to ensure that new deliverables are adopted for the benefit of the organisation.
Facilitate communication between the business and the IT teams and the key contributors during the project delivery phase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2+ year of experience as Business/Functional Analyst to be able to produce the work products (or similar)
Experience with working in an IT environment. Software skills are welcomed (e.g. data modelling, coding etc.) to be able to interact more easily with IT stakeholders
Excellent MS office and presentation skills
Experience in generating process documentation (Business Process Modelling Notation)
Critical thinking skills (evaluate multiple options to settle on a solution)
Flexibility to quickly adapt in case of unexpected change of priority
Excellent communication skills (listening, writing and presenting) at all levels, from team members to senior management level
University degree (MSc level) in Engineering, IT or Finance
Speak/write English fluently
Capacity to work autonomously and in close team collaboration.
Understanding of agile methodology and ability to work in an agile environment.
Good learning skills and a positive attitude
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management
Experience with working in the financial sector
Workable knowledge of BPMN or UML Tools
Workable knowledge of Adonis Tool
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
Understanding of core IT processes and security topics
Experience with operational excellence, process optimization and risks & controls
