Project Manager (Process, Lean, Design thinking) – Banking – Belgium or Poland

Day rate: €500 – €700

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Start: Now

Hybrid: 4 days on site per month

My banking client is looking for a Process Project Manager to join on a contract basis. The right person needs to have experience in design thinking and lean management systems. Can be based in Belgium or Poland, requirement to be in the office 4 times per month.

Scope:

Ensure the end to end delivery of business projects in the data management domain

Develop and understand client strategy, challenges, and translation to project goals

Create, support, and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications

Drive day-to-day operations whilst measuring progress against end goals

Translate business architectures and needs into technology options and technical architectures

Support staff with new ways of working

Develop new opportunities via research and analysis

Skills

  • Analytical skills: you are a critical thinker that is able research and understand complex information; draw conclusions and shape the solutions.
  • Methodology skills: You have been exposed or have experience in Design Thinking, Lean Management Systems, Agile or Continuous Improvement practices
  • Process modelling skills: you can facilitate and collaborate with diverse groups of individuals to build and visualise a process
  • Methodology skills: You have been exposed or have experience in Design Thinking, Lean Management Systems, Agile or Continuous Improvement practices
  • Communication skills: you are comfortable to communicate at all levels and have the courage to speak up when required. You can communicate complex ideas / solutions in a simple and compelling way, both verbally and in writing (English). In your communication transparency is critical
  • Project management skills: you are autonomous, self-starter able to develop coherent action plans, anticipate problems to impact, manage resources, milestones, transparency in reporting etc.
  • Facilitation skills: experience in acting as a facilitator (also in digital or hybrid set-up), ability to guide senior audiences to valuable workshop outcomes
  • Coaching skills: you are passionate about developing yourself and others. You are experienced in coaching people to become better performers. You continuously ask and provide feedback.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a mix of project and change management, consulting, or line management role
