Salary: £60 000 – £80 000
Location: Manchester or Edinburgh
We have partnered with a forward-thinking financial institution dedicated to safeguarding their digital platforms and protecting both customers and employees against emerging cyber threats. Their Cloud Security Operations team is integral to building and operating secure services in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
They’re looking for a Cloud SecOps Engineer to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment. This role offers the chance to work across domains, identify vulnerabilities proactively, and support robust security practices within a cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Expertise in technology security controls and cloud security, particularly AWS
Experience in Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced, collaborative teams
Knowledge of vulnerability and risk management, threat detection, and incident response
Proficiency with tools such as Inspector, Security Hub, Docker, GitLab, and Kubernetes
Experience with KMS, secret management, HSMs, and IAM
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in business terms
Tech Stack: AWS | Kubernetes | GitLab | Docker | Threat Detection & Hunting Tools
Salary: 60k – 80k, including Bonus, 28 Days Holiday, and Pension
Location: Manchester or Edinburgh- 1 day a week
