Salary – $60,000 – $96,000

A leading technology platform within the local commerce sector, focused on empowering businesses with innovative delivery and order fulfilment solutions, is seeking a Team Lead Frontend Engineer to join their fully remote R&D team. They provide a cutting-edge platform to enable local businesses to directly connect with their customer base. This organisation is built upon decades of experience in the technology sector, with a team of seasoned professionals driving the development of a transformative delivery system.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Tech Leaders to design and execute the product roadmap.
• Develop new product features and maintain existing ones.
• Mentor and support developers with product implementation.
• Conduct code reviews and promote frontend development best practices.
• Enhance team processes and best practices to support customer growth.
• Participate in frontend architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• 2+ years’ experience with Next.js and Node.js frameworks on an e-commerce project.
• 2+ years’ experience leading teams of frontend and backend developers.
• Proven experience leading large-scale B2C e-commerce projects (100k+ daily user sessions).
• High proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of component-driven design and development.
• Experience with frontend monitoring and performance measurement.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
• Passion for excellent design, code quality, user experience, and performance.
• Ability to understand the big picture and maintain attention to detail (pixel-perfect).
• Good written and verbal English skills.
