Position Overview:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable functionality for their e-commerce platform. Working collaboratively with a talented team, your contributions will be pivotal to the ongoing success of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and optimize the existing infrastructure, prioritizing high accuracy, reliability, and data scalability.
• Collaborate with the development team to create components and tooling for continuous enhancement of our e-commerce platform.
• Establish and implement best practices for a secure, scalable, and reliable platform.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including product, design, finance, legal, and customer service on a day-to-day basis.

Skills and Experiences:

• Innovative mindset with experience in system design, DevOps, and distributed computing.
• Solid of professional software engineering and programming expertise in backend development, with proven experience with Nest.js and TypeScript.
• Skilled in architecture and design work of complex systems.
• Proficient in concurrency, distributed systems, functional principles, and performance optimization.
• T-shaped engineer with a primary focus on the backend stack but a curiosity for data and frontend development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and a strong advocate of automated quality assurance.
• Skilled in one or several cloud-based backend technologies, with AWS experience preferred.
• Advocate of microservice architectures and well-specified data APIs.
• Interest in understanding new and complex business domains.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with experience in an agile development methodology.
