A small agile team based in Plymouth, who have achieved almost 50% growth in a year after winning a really lucrative and exciting contract with a leading sports brand who will be moving into a large brand new office in the coming weeks. They are a Start-up Technology Software Consultancy that are looking for a entry to Junior level engineer. This company will do incredibly well and wants to bring on an exciting and driven Junior Developer to join the ranks. The owner is hugely invested in its staff and building a collaborative culture.

There working structure; Hybrid.

The Role

The role will see you involved with responsibility on multiple client projects through varying technologies. Hands on, Learning on the job, but there is a real expectation to learn, consolidate and be driven. Full access to learning platforms as and when required.

They have been incredibly busy with current project and gaining new contracts. With a potential contract coming in that would hugely change the field of play for not only you as an engineer but the business. They haven’t even had time to finish the website, yet!

As a Software Developer you will:

• Collaborate on projects with minimal supervision
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
• Have working experience in micro services
• Knowledge of tooling such as Git
• Sustain quality of work
• Oversee responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with your team on projects
• Launch new features.
• Maintain code integrity and organisation.
• Understanding of data protection.

Technologies

Experience and exposure in these not essential but is desirable. But the drive to learn is essential.

• Front-end JavaScript with any Framework
• Back-end Tech Stack – C#, .Net, Python, PHP
