Software Engineering Manager – FinTech boosting the economy

Salt are recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager on behalf of a FinTech scale-up who have recently been featured in the news for their success and future growth plans, which will see them double in size over the coming 12 months.

They are a business who are transforming the sector and building a product that actively aids the economy – this is a mission that you will be proud to be a part of.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be looking after 8-12 engineers in a role that will see you part people leader, part technical problem-solver.

To succeed, you’ll need to have a deep understanding of what motivates and inspires great software engineers, be able to navigate them through complicated technical challenges and work collaboratively with Product Managers to maximise the value they ship to their customers.

You will have come from an engineering background, with an experience across a range of technologies that feature in their stack which is: Java, Springboot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.

The total compensation for this Software Engineering Manager ranges between £130,000 to £150,000 + 10% pension (non-contributory) + 38 days holiday.

This is also a remote-first position (London HQ)
